Trump: The United States knew about Israel's plans to attack Iran
Trump told the Wall Street Journal that the United States was aware of Israel's attack, saying: "We know what is happening," although there was no formal warning.
He claimed that the attack occurred just after the 60-day deadline he gave Iran for a nuclear deal: "On day 61, they attacked."
Trump described the attack as "very successful" and said that Iran can still negotiate "as long as it has something" and suggested that the move could boost markets by stopping Tehran's nuclear ambitions.
