six Iranian scientists died in Israeli strikes
Last night, Israel launched a massive strike on Iranian territory. One of the targets of the IDF was a nuclear facility in Natanz. As a result, at least six Iranian nuclear scientists were killed, reports the Nour News agency.
"Abdolhamid Minouchehr, Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, Amirhossein Fakhih, Matlabi Zadeh, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi were killed," the agency clarified. Their names will be added to the list of Iran's "scientific martyrs." Israeli strikes will be considered an attempt to stop the country's scientific and technological progress, the Nour News report states.
The Israeli air operation began around 3:00 AM Moscow time. In addition to the Iranian scientists, the victims of the strike included IRGC commander Hossein Salami and Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri. Among the civilian population, according to ISNA, 1 person was killed, and another 24 were injured.
