Mother-in-law watching son-in-law!
Associate Professor Wei Dongyi (Wei Shen) from Peking University is having a meal in the cafeteria, with his head down, focused on eating. Across from him sits a woman around 60 years old, staring intently at Wei Shen. In my personal understanding, her gaze seems to be that of a mother-in-law watching her son-in-law; I just don't know if our Wei Shen has his eye on her daughter!
The most mysterious thing in the cafeteria is that "vacuum zone"—no matter how many people are queuing for food, as soon as Wei Shen sits down, the area within three meters automatically clears out. Last time, a new student, not believing in evil, insisted on getting closer, but as soon as he sat down, he heard Wei Shen tap his chopsticks on the plate, which scared him so much that he immediately pulled out a piece of paper and started memorizing the Taylor series. Now everyone has learned their lesson; they would rather stand and eat a couple of bites than step into that mysterious area even half a step. If you ask me, this is not a dining area; it is clearly a new type of stress test zone for Peking University students!
