President Trump praised Elon Musk and Tesla today, calling Elon “a friend of mine,” after Elon Musk posted on X: “I regret some of the posts directed at the President [Trump] last week. They went too far.”
President Trump said he was once surprised by Elon’s support, especially since he had revoked the EV mandate. But Elon reportedly told him: “As long as it applies to everyone, I can still compete.”
When asked about reconciliation, President Trump replied: “I hold no hard feelings.”
