WHAT HAS CHANGED IN MY TRADING OVER 3 YEARS?

1. Number of trades. If at the beginning of my journey I was making 10-20 trades every day, now it's 2-3 trades.

2. Risks. In the first 2 years, I could easily trade with a leverage of 15-30 and lose up to 10-15% of my deposit in one losing trade. Now I trade with a leverage of 1-3 (rarely 5), and the risk per trade is up to 2% of the account.

3. Number of strategies. As a beginner, I tried to trade everything: scalping, volatility, bounces, etc. Now 95% of all my trades are based on just one strategy - breakout levels.

The main conclusions I drew from my experience:

1. The growth of the deposit is achieved not by a large number of trades and high leverage, but by the quality of each trade. Fewer trades - better quality of each trade - more profit.

2. Multitasking is the trader's killer. To trade effectively, you must focus only on one trading strategy.

3. Risk control is the key to success. If you cannot maintain a risk per trade in the range of 1-2%, and a daily drawdown of up to 10% - there are no chances to survive in trading. Even the coolest trading strategy over the long run will lead to a loss of the deposit if there is no risk management.
