Yesterday I entered a long position on BTC at a price of 67,800 with a 10x leverage. After seeing the price break through the short-term resistance level and a low funding rate, I decided to enter with the expectation that it would rise to 68,500.
However, about 30 minutes later the price was pushed back and hit the stop loss at 67,300, resulting in a loss of about 20 USDT.
I learned the lesson that I shouldn't FOMO when the RSI is too high. Next time I will wait for the price to retest support or wait for a clearer confirmation signal.
This trade helped me stay alert and continue to keep a journal to track the progress of improving my strategy.
