At the XRP Ledger Apex 2025 summit, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated that the XRP Ledger could capture 14% of SWIFT's global liquidity within five years. He emphasized that XRP is designed to drive liquidity, not to replace SWIFT's messaging system. Ripple also announced the launch of an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible sidechain.
