The CEO of Ripple believes that the XRP Ledger aims to capture 14% of SWIFT liquidity by 2030
Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, expects that the XRP Ledger (XRPL) will be able to seize 14% of the global SWIFT liquidity within five years, focusing on liquidity for messaging services.
Garlinghouse made these comments during a press session at the XRP Ledger Apex 2025 in Singapore on June 10.
Ripple sets high ambitions for the XRP Ledger
The RippleNet network, Ripple's global payment network, currently includes hundreds of banks among its users. However, the actual use of XRP through on-demand liquidity (ODL) is still limited to a select group, including MoneyGram, SBI Holdings, and Santander.
