The Federal Reserve will keep interest rates stable at least until September
According to the latest data from a survey of 105 economists conducted from June 5 to 10, the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged and will not cut rates at least until September.
Almost everyone (specifically 105 people) stated that the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) will maintain the interest rate at a level of 4.25% to 4.50% during the meeting on June 17-18, which is the same range it has maintained since the beginning of this year.
What is the only reason? Inflation has not yet subsided, and the labor market has not shown enough pressure to compel the Federal Reserve to take action.
