#加密圆桌讨论 recently participated in a crypto roundtable discussion, and the insights from several experts really benefited me greatly.

What impressed me the most was the discussion about the risks of DeFi liquidity mining. One expert mentioned that high APY often hides the trap of impermanent loss. He gave an example: if you deposit into the ETH/USDT trading pair, and the price of ETH skyrockets, although the APY appears very high, the amount of ETH you withdraw will decrease, and ultimately your returns may be less than just holding ETH directly. This reminded me of a friend who blindly pursued high returns and ended up being fiercely educated by impermanent loss.

There was also a discussion about Layer 2 scaling solutions. Everyone generally believes that Layer 2 is the key to solving Ethereum congestion. Among them, Optimistic Rollup and ZK Rollup are currently the more mainstream solutions. Optimistic Rollup is fast, but the withdrawal period is long; ZK Rollup has high security but is technically difficult to implement. Choosing which solution to use must be considered based on specific application scenarios.

Finally, they also talked about the development trends of Web3. One expert believes that Web3 is not just about cryptocurrencies, but a completely new form of the Internet that will reshape the relationship between users and the Internet, allowing users to truly own their data and assets. This filled me with anticipation for the future of Web3. What do you think?
