Did people really believed Ethereum and Solana would collapse and just dissappear?
The price action $ETH and $SOL experienced in April 2025 (by which they plummeted to +2Y lows) was motivated by major selloffs, triggered by collateral liquidations, which had a greater impact than any hacks or token unlocks combined.
Harsh criticism of Ethereum and Solana, is meant to capitalize on every sign of weakness in order to increase the market share of other BLOCKCHAINS.
This practice is flawed, for "killing" the Idols/Symbols means death to the industry.
Imagine, Bitcoin's or Ethereum's violent/sudden collapse, and the emotional reaction of the industry.
The resentment, frustration of the industry has been directed to them since they were the focus of the attention the crypto industry received with the NFT and MEME COIN explotion. Not only traders were associating their personal bad memories/experiences to the network more than blaming their own bad judgement and opportunism, who were the real cause of trouble.
