In a significant step forward for network efficiency, TON Core successfully tested the Accelerator and TVM 11 update in May, dramatically improving the network’s performance. Under current load conditions, these advancements will reduce transaction processing time to just 3–5 seconds, offering a major speed boost for both the network and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
The update doesn’t stop at performance gains. TON Core also introduced several new features to enhance flexibility and decentralization:

Block downloading via Ton Torrents, leveraging peer-to-peer technology for faster and more efficient data synchronization.

A powerful new Streaming API, enabling real-time data access for developers and applications.
