Nasdaq submitted an application to the SEC to expand the Hashdex crypto index.

According to the document, the exchange plans to expand the index to nine cryptocurrencies, adding

$XRP , $SOL , $ADA, $XLM.

Currently, due to regulatory restrictions, the Hashdex ETF contains only Bitcoin and Ethereum.

If the SEC gives the green light, the index composition will expand to nine assets. Bitcoin and Ethereum will be joined by XRP, Solana, Cardano, Stellar Lumens, Chainlink, Litecoin, and Uniswap.

After the application was submitted, XRP slightly increased in price, on Monday, 09.06.2025, it rose above $2.23, which is 3.1% higher than the minimum over the week.

Solana also rebounded from a drop to $140 on Friday, the token rose almost to $155.

Cardano continues to lose value and is currently trading around $0.67.

Stellar Lumens also went down that week, losing more than 1% after news from Nasdaq.
