On the third day of Eid-ul-Adha, it was very hot in Lahore, and the temperature reached 46 degrees Celsius. This is the highest temperature in Lahore in many years.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), this heat is the most intense in the last 20 years. Previously, in 2007, a temperature of 48°C (118.4°F) was recorded at Lahore Airport. This year's heat is very close to that record.

This intense heat is not limited to Lahore – it is very hot across the entire country. Islamabad and Peshawar will also experience temperatures up to 44°C, while Quetta will be at 36°C and Karachi at 34°C.

Tomorrow (Monday), the highest temperature recorded was 49°C in Dera Ghazi Khan and Jacobabad, 48°C in Sargodha and Sibi, and 47°C in Gujranwala, Jhelum, Kasur, and Mandi Bahauddin.

Weather forecasts indicate that this heat will continue for the next few days, and there is no hope of relief until the middle of June.
