🔸Sony Launches Game Incubator on its Layer-2 Blockchain Soneium
Soneium, Sony's Layer-2 blockchain linked to Ethereum, has introduced a new incubation program called "Soneium For All." The goal is to accelerate the development of consumer applications and games within its blockchain ecosystem, which already has 7 million users.
This initiative aims to bridge the world of traditional technology (Web2) with that of blockchain (Web3), facilitating entry for developers and helping them reach users more quickly.
The "Soneium For All" program will launch in the third quarter and is a collaboration between Sony Block Solutions Labs (the creators of Soneium, which uses Optimism OP Stack technology), Astar Network, and Startale Cloud Services, with investment support from Sony Innovation Fund.
Ryohei Suzuki, director of Sony Block Solutions Labs, stated that this initiative reflects the company's vision of empowering creators globally through blockchain technology, moving towards a more open and creator-centered internet.
