Romania has made a significant advancement in digital financial services. The country's official postal institution, the Romanian National Post, announced that it has placed the country's first Bitcoin ATM in its Tulcea branch.

ATM ENABLED FOR BITCOIN TRANSACTIONS
According to the official statement, this ATM allows transactions in both the local currency RON and Bitcoin (BTC). Citizens will be able to buy and sell cryptocurrency through this device.

PLANS TO EXPAND THE PILOT APPLICATION
Following the pilot application in Tulcea, it has been reported that Bitcoin ATMs will also be installed at post offices in Alexandria, Piatra Neamț, Botoșani, and Nădlac. Thus, the aim is to popularize crypto financial services across the country.
