Why isn't my buy/sell order executed even when it matches the current price?
Hi Binance Community,
I’ve noticed something strange a few times. For example, I place a buy order at 0.00001170, and the price of the crypto is showing as 0.00001170, but the order doesn’t get filled. Then suddenly, the price jumps to 0.00001171 without my order executing.
Same thing happens sometimes when I try to sell — I set a sell order at the current price, but it doesn't fill and instead the price drops or moves away.
Can someone please explain why this happens?
Is there something I’m missing in how the order book works?
Would appreciate any tips or suggestions!
