✔ On 04/06/25, the National Bank of Kazakhstan announced the launch of one of its cryptocurrency integration projects and the implementation of crypto cards.
✔ These cards, which allow users to make cashless purchases, are linked to wallets containing cryptocurrency that can be settled at the time of the transaction, allowing merchants to receive cash after the sale of these digital assets.
✔ The sale of these assets will be managed by brokers located in the Astana International Financial Centre, a national financial hub.
✔ The bank also emphasized its intention to launch additional digital asset initiatives later this year, including the issuance of stablecoins backed by the national currency and the tokenization of financial assets, among others.
