#韩国加密政策 "Virtual Asset User Protection Law": Passed in Congress on June 30, 2023, to be implemented in July 2024. This law defines virtual assets as digital assets that can be traded or transferred electronically, excluding central bank digital currencies issued by the Bank of Korea. It requires virtual asset service providers to separate user funds from their own funds, to be maintained by banks or trust institutions, proportionally deposit funds in cold wallets, purchase insurance or reserves to manage risks, and retain transaction records for 15 years. It also regulates five types of unfair trading practices, including the use of undisclosed information, market manipulation, fraud, and deceptive trading.
