He is pushing for the legalization of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, getting the National Pension Service involved in cryptocurrencies, and even launching a stablecoin backed by the won – all part of the new Basic Digital Assets Law.

And that's not all: starting in June, non-profit organizations and exchanges can actually sell cryptocurrencies—think BTC, ETH, and even BNB—to raise capital, but under stricter daily limits and more rigorous KYC/AML controls. Exchanges also have to get rid of zombie coins and the antics of meme coins.
