Trading Mistake 101: Don't Chase Pumps đ¨ (BTC/ETH Example)
One of the biggest mistakes I made early on in crypto trading was FOMO-buying into pumps without understanding the BTC/ETH trend. I saw Ethereum surging against Bitcoin, thought it was âgoing to the moon,â and jumped in late â just as the smart money was exiting. Within hours, ETH started correcting hard against BTC and I ended up holding a heavy bag.
Lesson? Always check the broader trend, use indicators (like RSI or MACD), and never enter a trade just because it âlooks hot.â Emotional trading = costly mistakes. Set your entry strategy, stop-loss, and take-profit before you buy.
