Crypto Fees 101

In June 2025, crypto fees vary by network. On Bitcoin, the average fee is ≈ 1.19 USD, 98 % less than a year ago, due to lower congestion. Fees rise on days of high activity, but these current figures allow for economical transactions.

On networks like Ethereum, Solana, or BNB, fees are usually less than 0.50 USD per transaction (according to the trend of efficient layer 1 networks). Meanwhile, on second layer blockchains and sidechains (Lightning, Optimism), costs can be even lower, just cents per operation.

To reduce fees:

Avoid peak hours when the demand for transactions drives up costs.

Manually adjust the “gas fee” with low priority if you're not in a hurry.

Use solutions like Lightning Network (BTC) or Optimistic Rollups (ETH).

Choosing the right network and timing can make your transactions much more efficient and wallet-friendly.
