On-chain alert (Beijing time) — According to Binance Alpha monitoring, the address 0x927...51721 encountered a malicious MEV attack today while trading KOGE/USDT, exchanging 47,000 USDT for only 0.009 KOGE, with the single token cost maliciously pushed up to an astronomical 5.18 million USD, marking the most severe on-chain harvesting case of the year.
Data analysis shows that the attacker precisely manipulated the liquidity of the trading pool, initiating a "sandwich attack" before and after the user’s large buy order, causing the actual transaction price to deviate from the market price by over a million times. The security team pointed out that this incident directly exposed a significant vulnerability for users who had not enabled MEV protection, resulting in a loss of up to 99.9% of the principal.
The exchange urgently reminds: On-chain trading must enable MEV interception features, and trading in highly volatile MEME coins should set slippage protection. The current KOGE price has recovered to around 0.0001, with the victim's address assets nearly wiped out.
