It is worth noting the existence of a stablecoin issued or supported by major technology companies such as Apple, Amazon, Google, or Meta.
A stablecoin is a type of digital currency linked to a stable asset like the US dollar and is used in buying and selling transactions within these platforms, such as purchasing gifts. Such transactions can also be applied in the buying and selling of tangible products, like Apple phones, for example.
Examples of stablecoins include:
1. The Diem project (formerly Libra) launched by Meta (formerly Facebook), which aimed to create a stablecoin backed by multiple global currencies, but it was halted due to regulatory pressure.
2. Another example is the PYUSD coin issued by PayPal, which is considered one of the first stablecoins supported by a major fintech company.
In your opinion, will any of these companies succeed in creating a stablecoin project?
