#CryptoFees101 The Bitcoin (BTC) transaction fees are at new lows, much to the delight of traders who are paying much lower fees, at least compared to December 2017. According to a new report published by the crypto and blockchain research firm Diar on February 11, the fees are at levels last seen in 2014.
While BTC transactions reached their highest level in January, nearly at the level recorded in 2017, the average transaction value with BTC has decreased. The average spending related to BTC fees has reportedly dropped to levels last seen in 2014:
"Average fees are also at levels not seen since 2015, despite the fact that the total monthly Bitcoin trading volume has moved to higher levels than those observed for most of 2018."
