It is worth noting that there is a stablecoin issued or supported by major technology companies such as Apple, Amazon, Google, or Meta.
A stablecoin is a type of digital currency linked to a stable asset such as the US dollar, and it is used in buying and selling transactions within those platforms, such as purchasing gifts. Similar transactions could be applied in buying and selling at physical product retail branches, such as Apple phones.
Examples of stablecoins include:
1. The Diem project (formerly Libra) launched by Meta (formerly Facebook), which aimed to create a stablecoin backed by several global currencies, but it was halted due to regulatory pressures.
2. Another example is the PYUSD currency issued by PayPal, which is considered one of the first stablecoins supported by a major fintech company.
In your opinion, will one of these companies succeed in creating a stablecoin project?
