In an interview with the Hungarian publication Mandiner, Karol Nawrocki stated that he does not support a European future for Kyiv "at this moment." However, he agreed that Poland should support Ukraine "from a strategic and geopolitical point of view" and emphasized that the biggest threat to Warsaw is the Russian Federation.

The politician also stressed that Ukraine must understand that other countries, including Poland and Hungary, also have their own interests. In this same context, he mentioned the Volhynian tragedy.

💬 "Poland has such an interest, for example, in the exhumation of Volhynian victims. During the campaign, I did not agree and as president, I will not agree to unfair competition with Ukraine for Polish agriculture or the logistics sector. We need to reach a compromise and consensus on these issues."
