Forget Gas Stations: This Fridge-Sized Machine Makes Gasoline From Thin Air!
Aircela, a New York-based startup, has unveiled a groundbreaking device that produces real, usable gasoline directly from the air. Roughly the size of a refrigerator, this machine utilizes direct air capture (DAC) technology to extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and, using water and renewable electricity, synthesizes it into gasoline.
The resulting fuel is sulfur-free, ethanol-free, and compatible with existing gas-powered vehicles without any modifications. OBJ OBJ
In a live demonstration on a Manhattan rooftop, Aircela showcased the machine's capability to generate gasoline on-site, highlighting its potential to revolutionize fuel production and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. B
