🧠 Will Google, Apple, or Amazon enter the world of stablecoins?
The scenario in which major tech companies launch their own stablecoins is no longer fiction, but a matter of time.
Facebook (Meta) already tried with Diem, but faced strong opposition from regulators. And although the project was shut down, the precedent itself was significant.
📌 Imagine:
AppleCoin — for internal transactions in the App Store
Amazon USD — for instant purchases and loyalty
GooglePay Token — integrated into the advertising system
Advantages for Big Tech: total control, fees remain within the ecosystem, and the opportunity for financial expansion without banks.
Disadvantages? Regulatory barriers, distrust of monopolies, and possibly too centralized a model for true crypto enthusiasts.
