Deep Tide TechFlow News, on June 7, according to Guangming.com, the police in Dongxihu, Wuhan recently dismantled a fraud den hidden in the countryside, arresting 32 criminal suspects, with 20 being criminally detained by the police. During the interrogation, the fraud gang disguised themselves by fabricating a "rich and beautiful" dating script, boasting about virtual currency investment returns, and then luring victims to invest in their fake platform. The scammers used a carefully crafted "script" to engage with victims, asking about their well-being to create closeness, and then lavishly showcasing "investment" returns. Once the victims were interested, the suspects would send fake investment URLs, enticing the victims to purchase virtual currency and invest on the fake platform. The returns were controllable by the scammers, but withdrawals were impossible to succeed. The case is currently under further investigation.
