PnL on Binance – is an abbreviation for Profit and Loss, which means profit and loss. This indicator shows how much you have gained or lost from a single transaction or overall portfolio.
PnL generally comes in two forms:
1. Realized PnL:
The amount gained or lost after selling. For example, if you bought a coin for $100 and sold it for $130, realized PnL = +$30.
2. Unrealized PnL:
Profit or loss arising from the change in value of assets currently in the portfolio but not yet sold. This number changes as the price fluctuates.
In short:
PnL = Selling price – Buying price
The PnL indicator helps you understand which transactions are profitable and which are unprofitable.
