On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump criticized billionaire Elon Musk, saying he feels "disappointed" due to Musk's public opposition to the comprehensive tax and spending reduction bill, which is at the heart of Trump's agenda. Musk stated, "Without me, the U.S. President would have lost the elections." Trump said in a statement at the White House, "Elon and I have a great relationship... I don't know if we will remain that way anymore." He added, "He has said the nicest things about me, and he has not said bad things about me personally, but I am sure that will change later. However, I feel a great disappointment in Elon... I have helped him a lot." Trump also confirmed that Musk launched a scathing attack on the bill due to the proposed elimination of tax exemptions for electric car owners. Musk, the CEO of Tesla, said he opposes the bill because it will increase the federal deficit. Trump pointed out that Musk, who received a warm farewell from the U.S. President last week after overseeing his campaign to reduce federal costs, is upset because he misses working with the U.S. President.
