It seems that signs of war between them have started to appear, and there was previously no friendship or anything—pure political hypocrisy driven by personal interests for each one's desires and goals, with selfishness reigning supreme and monitoring the other. American President Donald Trump criticized billionaire Elon Musk today, Thursday, saying he feels "disappointed" due to Musk's public opposition to the comprehensive tax and spending cut bill, which is at the heart of Trump's agenda, while Musk stated, "Without me, the American president would have lost the election."
Trump stated in a White House statement, "Elon and I have a great relationship... I don't know if we will still be that way from now on."
He added, "He has said the nicest things about me, and he hasn't said anything bad about me personally, but I am sure that will come later. But I am very disappointed in Elon... I have helped him a lot."
Trump also confirmed that Musk launched a scathing attack on the bill due to the proposed elimination of tax incentives for electric car owners.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla, had said that he opposes the bill because it would increase the federal deficit.
Trump indicated that Musk, who received a warm farewell from the American president last week after overseeing his campaign to cut federal costs, is upset because he misses working with the American president.
