💬 Respect your deposit — even when everything seems under control
I always talk about the importance of stop-losses, about respecting your deposit, about securing profits.
But today, I broke my own rules.
The coin was volatile — yes — but it was dropping nicely. Profit was growing. Margin was safe.
And yet, I didn’t take profit.
Didn’t even move to breakeven.
I honestly can't explain why.
And let me remind you — your deposit won’t forgive this kind of neglect.
In the last hour, the signs were there. I just didn’t look:
🔸 Volume was increasing while the price barely moved
🔸 MACD was slowly flipping upward
🔸 MA(5) and MA(10) were tightening
🔸 A classic setup: post-dump flat zone → stealthy accumulation → liquidation spike (aka “short trap”)
That sharp candle wasn’t out of nowhere — it was the market shaving down lazy shorts.
👉 Lesson learned?
It doesn’t matter how much experience you have — if you don’t manage your position, the market will manage it for you.
Respect your deposit. Always. Especially when you think you’re safe.
