Plundering SpaceX: Trump's former adviser Bannon calls for Musk's deportation
After Musk's public break with Trump and mutual accusations via social media, former Donald Trump adviser Stephen Bannon issued a call for Trump to strip Elon Musk of his assets, deport him, and launch a series of investigations against him.
Represented by Stephen Bannon, extreme right forces in the U.S. have been criticizing Musk for months. Bannon suggested that the president terminate all of Musk's contracts and initiate multiple investigations against the world's richest man.
"The government should conduct a formal investigation into his immigration status because I firmly believe he is an illegal foreign national and should be deported immediately."
Bannon also urged the U.S. president to immediately take over SpaceX.
"Musk knows a thing or two about engineering, I admit that, but he knows nothing about the real world. I believe that when Musk threatened to withdraw from the major projects signed with NASA, President Trump should have acted immediately. President Trump should sign an executive order today invoking the Defense Production Act to take action against SpaceX and take over the company."
