#TradingPairs101 New to trading and confused about trading pairs? Let’s clear it up!

🔹 A trading pair shows two assets you can trade between. For example, BTC/USDT means you’re trading Bitcoin against Tether (a stablecoin). If you buy this pair, you're using USDT to buy BTC. If you sell, you're exchanging BTC for USDT.

🔸 Base Currency (first in the pair) is the one you're buying or selling.

🔸 Quote Currency (second in the pair) is what you use to measure the value of the base.

There are two main types:

1️⃣ Crypto-to-Fiat (e.g., ETH/USD) – Ideal for beginners.

2️⃣ Crypto-to-Crypto (e.g., ETH/BTC) – Common on decentralized exchanges.

Understanding trading pairs helps you make better decisions, especially when swapping between assets or calculating profits. Always check liquidity and price trends before jumping in!
