Billionaire Elon Musk, who resigned from his position in Donald Trump's administration days ago, called on Americans to take action and communicate with their representatives in both the House of Representatives and the Senate to defeat the tax and spending bill supported by the American president, referred to as the "big and beautiful" plan.

In a post on X, Elon Musk wrote: "Talk to your representatives... Talk to the senator from your area... America's bankruptcy is unacceptable... Kill the bill."

The new post came a day after Musk described the bill as "disgusting and full of extravagance," at a time when conservative Republicans are facing increasing pressure from President Trump to vote in favor of the massive financial package in the Senate.

Musk's public criticism represents a direct challenge to President Donald Trump at a critical time, as the American president is personally pushing to convince opponents in Congress to support the bill. This interaction follows just a few days after Musk left his position in the government efficiency department.
