ARK Invest purchased nearly 4.5 million shares of Circle on its first day, valued at about $373 million.
According to reports, ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, purchased approximately 4.5 million shares of Circle (CRCL) on the first day of its listing on the New York Stock Exchange, valued at about $373 million based on the closing price. Circle's stock performed excellently on its first trading day, with the price reaching as high as $103.75, approximately a 50% increase from the opening price of $69, and ultimately closing at $83.23, while the IPO issuance price was $31. In addition, ARK Invest also reduced its holdings in some other cryptocurrency-related companies, including $39 million worth of Coinbase (COIN), $18.5 million of Robinhood (HOOD), and $10.4 million of Block (XYZ) shares. ARK is actively incorporating Circle into its cryptocurrency investment portfolio, alongside companies like Coinbase and Robinhood.
