#TrumpVsMusk 🧵 Thread 15 - What are trading pairs on Binance and how to understand them? 👇

🧵1/

If you enter Binance and see things like:

BTC/USDT

ETH/BTC

BNB/EUR

…and you don't understand anything, this thread is for you.

Here I explain what trading pairs are and how to read them.

🧵2/

📌 A trading pair represents an exchange between two assets.

Example:

BTC/USDT = you are seeing how much 1 BTC is worth in USDT (digital dollars).

🧵3/

📈 If the price of BTC/USDT is 70,000, that means:

➡️ 1 BTC = 70,000 USDT

And if you have 70 USDT, you could buy:

➡️ 0.001 BTC

🧵4/

✅ Common pairs:

🔸 BTC/USDT → you buy BTC with USDT

🔸 ETH/USDT → you buy ETH with USDT

🔸 ADA/BTC → you buy ADA using BTC

🔸 BNB/EUR → you buy BNB with euros

The first asset is the one you buy.

The second is the one you use to pay.

🧵5/

⚠️ If you choose the wrong pair, you might accidentally buy or sell the wrong asset.

Example:

ADA/BTC = you spend BTC to buy ADA

Not euros, not USDT.

🧵6/

👀 Pro tip:

Before trading, check the pair you are in.

This avoids very common mistakes among beginners.
