The Monetary Authority of Singapore has issued 33 licenses for 'Digital Payment Token Services (DPT)' Major Payment Institution, covering four major areas: exchanges/wallets, custody and compliance infrastructure, payment processing, and banking/brokerage.
Coinbase, Circle, Anchorage, DBS Vickers, FOMO Pay, and others are all included. With compliance dividends, Singapore's crypto ecosystem is taking shape, and regional funds and institutions are accelerating their gathering.
