After making 1500U, he only took 500U to add, not going all in! He also lowered the leverage to 2x, essentially rolling the snowball, but always keeping a solid base.
Many people go ALL IN right from the start, and when the market reverses, they get wrecked.
Second rule: Don't move! Wait for the opportunity!
Last month, BTC traded sideways for two weeks, and 99% of people were itchy, entering and exiting, losing badly.
What about my friend? He sat still for those two weeks like an old turtle.
He waited until BTC broke through a key level (like 95000) before taking action.
Real profits come from those few key entries.
Third rule: Liquidation price = Lifeline
For example, if BTC is at 84000, he must set his liquidation line below 76000.
What does that mean? Leave a safety buffer of more than 10%. If the market spikes, don’t panic, as long as you don’t get liquidated, you still have a way out.
Some people with 5x leverage get stuck right at support, and when a spike hits, they go straight to zero, with no chance to explain.
Fourth rule: As soon as you make money, withdraw it!
When the capital doubles, withdraw half immediately, let the profits continue to roll.
When the account hits 100,000, he withdrew 80,000, leaving only 20,000 to continue trading.
Remember: The key to making money is not the account balance, but whether it can go into your bank account.
