#TradingPairs101
In crypto trading, a trading pair represents two assets you can exchange on an exchange platform. It shows the price of one cryptocurrency relative to another. For example, in the BTC/USDT pair, you’re trading Bitcoin against Tether (a stablecoin). If BTC/USDT = 70,000, it means 1 BTC costs 70,000 USDT. Some pairs involve two cryptos, like ETH/BTC, letting you trade Ethereum directly for Bitcoin. Choosing the right pair depends on liquidity, fees, and strategy. Mastering trading pairs allows you to seize opportunities, hedge risks, and navigate both spot and futures markets more effectively. Always check volume and spread before entering.
