The token 'Kill Big Beautiful Bill' was released in honor of the call from #Tesla to reject the 'big beautiful bill' promoted by Donald Trump.

Meme coin released in protest of Elon Musk against the bill promoted by U.S. President Donald Trump, grew in capitalization to $53 million within a few hours. Trading the token from unknown creators brought early traders tens of thousands of dollars in profit.

The head of Tesla and SpaceX publicly criticizes Trump for his tax-budget 'big and beautiful bill'. The initiative will increase the 'already gigantic budget deficit' to $2.5 trillion and 'burden the citizens of America with insurmountable debt', Musk stated.

On June 4, he published a promotional poster for Quentin Tarantino's action movie 'Kill Bill', calling for a rejection of Trump's bill. Musk used a play on words, applying the English word 'Bill' in the sense of 'law'. Shortly after, the meme coin 'Kill Big Beautiful Bill' (KBBB) was launched through the token creation platform Pump.fun.

The developers of the meme coin replaced Uma Thurman's image on the movie poster with a caricature of Musk, linking the picture to the KBBB token. The market capitalization of the meme coin, which traded on decentralized exchanges, grew to $53.12 million within the first nine hours but has since decreased by more than half to $23 million.

According to DEX Screener on June 5, the most successful trader earned $137,000 trading the KBBB token. Each of the top 100 traders of the meme coin recorded a profit of over $14,000. Likely, among them were insiders or sniper trading bots buying any tokens on the Pump.fun platform immediately after their launch.

In the fall of 2024, Trump invited Musk to head the Government Efficiency Department ($DOGE ) in his administration in an attempt to cut U.S. government spending. According to the businessman, who recently left $DOGE , Trump's bill effectively nullifies the work Musk has done for the White House.
