Trading pairs are the two assets that are exchanged in a trade on a financial market, commonly seen in cryptocurrency and forex trading. For example, in the BTC/USDT pair, Bitcoin (BTC) is traded against Tether (USDT). The first asset is the "base," and the second is the "quote" currency. The pair shows how much of the quote currency is needed to buy one unit of the base currency. Understanding trading pairs is essential for making informed decisions, as prices, profits, and losses are calculated based on the movement between these two assets in the selected pair.
