🔥Company behind the stablecoin USDC makes its debut on the New York Stock Exchange 👀
On June 5, 2025, #Circle Internet Group, the company behind the stablecoin #USDC , made its debut on the New York Stock Exchange (#NYSE ) with the symbol $CRCL. This event reflects Wall Street's interest in stablecoins, as well as their integration into traditional financial markets.
The company's IPO comes 12 years after Allaire co-founded Circle along with Sean Neville with the mission of reshaping the global economic system. Currently, USDC is the second largest stablecoin by market capitalization, only behind USDT.
The public launch of Circle comes shortly after the company announced another expansion of its initial public offering (IPO) selling 34 million shares at $31 each. For now, $CRCL has reached a peak price of over $90 and is currently at $80 per share.
