#TradingPairs101 How not to get confused with pairs and not lose value
A trading pair is the exchange rate between two assets. For example, ETH/USDT — how much USDT is needed for 1 ETH. You are always buying one asset for another.
📌 Why it's important to choose wisely:
• Different liquidity and spreads
• In some pairs, trading is simply not profitable
• Sometimes it's better to make a trade through BTC or ETH — it will be cheaper
✅ How I choose:
• I often trade through USDT — it's convenient and clear
• I monitor the volume and charts of both coins
• I avoid “exotics” with empty order books
💡 Life hack: compare prices in several pairs — the difference can be significant. Sometimes ALGO/USDT and ALGO/BTC live in completely different worlds.
