#TradingPairs101 🔁 #TradingPairs101 – What Are Trading Pairs? 🤔

When trading crypto (or any asset), you’re exchanging one currency for another. That’s where trading pairs come in!

🔹 What’s a Trading Pair?

A trading pair shows the two assets you're swapping.

For example:

💱 BTC/USDT = Trading Bitcoin against Tether (a stablecoin)

🔹 Base vs. Quote Currency

➡️ First asset = Base (what you're buying or selling)

➡️ Second asset = Quote (what it's priced in)

✅ Example:

BTC/USDT = 70,000 means 1 BTC = 70,000 USDT

You can buy BTC using USDT or sell BTC to receive USDT

🔄 Common Crypto Pairs:

BTC/USDT

ETH/BTC

ADA/ETH

SOL/USDT

💡 Pro Tip: Start with pairs that involve stablecoins (like USDT or USDC) for easier tracking of profits/losses!
