Circle Internet Group, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has successfully gone public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CRCL. The company raised approximately $1.1 billion by selling 34 million shares at $31 each, boosting its estimated market capitalization to $6.9 billion.

USDC, the second-largest stablecoin, has about $60 billion in circulation and has facilitated over $25 trillion in on-chain transactions since its inception in 2018. Circle's revenue has grown significantly, with the company reporting $1.7 billion in revenue for 2024.

The IPO's success reflects strong investor confidence and marks one of the largest public listings for a crypto-related company since Coinbase in 2021.
