How do cryptocurrency trading pairs work?
Essentially, a trading pair shows the exchange rate between two cryptocurrencies, allowing traders to buy or sell one cryptocurrency in terms of another. For example, the BTC/USD pair indicates the value of Bitcoin in US dollars, while the ETH/USDT pair shows the value of Ethereum in Tether.
Examples of trading pairs:
BTC/ETH: Bitcoin in relation to Ethereum
BTC/USDT: Bitcoin in relation to Tether
ETH/USDT: Ethereum in relation to Tether
BTC/USD: Bitcoin in relation to US dollars
ETH/MXN: Ethereum in relation to Mexican pesos
