On June 5, PANews reported that the blockchain network Plume, focused on real-world assets (RWA), officially launched its Genesis mainnet. The platform has integrated over $150 million in RWA assets from traditional financial institutions such as BlackRock and Invesco, and has completed integrations with DeFi protocols like Curve and Morpho.

Plume enables users to seamlessly use RWA in DeFi scenarios such as lending and liquidity provision by tokenizing traditional financial instruments. In December 2024, the project completed a $20 million Series A funding round, bringing its ecosystem fund size to $4 billion. The team plans to expand into new asset classes such as art and precious metals in the coming months.
